Mardi Himal Trek is a recently opened and less crowded trail in the Annapurna Region of the Himalayas. The trek takes about five days to reach Mardi Base Camp, where trekkers can enjoy stunning views of Mardi Himal, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri. The route traverses through virgin forests of rhododendrons, oak, and birch, offering a dreamlike experience, especially during spring when the forest is blooming with pink and red rhododendrons. The trek involves walking on a narrow ridgeline and offers ample opportunities for budding and professional photographers and filmmakers to capture dramatic mountain shots. This is a teahouse trek where trekkers can stop for food and rest at teahouses run by locals.

The trek is highly recommended for novice and experienced trekkers looking for an easy and short trek in the Annapurna region. The trek starts from Kande, an hour's drive from Pokhara, and offers the best spots for stargazing at night. Trekkers can enjoy the Milky Way and constellations from Badal Danda, Low Camp, and High Camp. Experienced local guides offer cultural insights and help trekkers reach their goals safely. Overall, Mardi Himal Trek is an exciting ridge-line trekking adventure that takes you to one of the least explored trails in the Annapurna Region, filled with stunning close-up views of the Himalayas, making it a must-do trek for those looking for a short and authentic Himalayan experience off-the-beaten-path.
