The Everest Thame Legendary Trek provides insight into the unique cultural and traditional lifestyle of the Sherpa tribes residing in the high-altitude region of Nepal. Thame, situated in the western Khumbu Valley in the Solukhumbu district, is a small Sherpa village close to the Tibet border. Thame was historically a trade route with Tibet and is home to numerous Everest climbers, as well as Ang Rita Sherpa, who holds the record for climbing Mount Everest ten times without oxygen. Ang Rita Sherpa is also known as "Snow Leopard."
This short and unique trek offers a mix of easy to medium-graded trails that require an average of 5 to 6 hours of walking per day. Even those with no prior experience can complete this trek if they are physically fit. With the guidance of our experienced Trek Guides and the support of Sherpas, you can enjoy a comfortable pace on the trail. The trek's highlight is reaching the renowned Sherpa village of Thame, making the experience truly unforgettable.
