Khopra Ridge Trek is a new and secluded hiking trail in the Nepal Himalaya region that offers breathtaking views of majestic peaks such as Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna Massif, Hiunchuli, Nilgiri Himal, and more. The community trek was introduced to improve the economic condition of the villages situated on this trail. The trail is filled with typical Nepalese villages, terraced fields, and lush jungles, and passes through quaint Gurung villages and dense rhododendron forests. The highlights of the trek include hikes to Khopra Danda, Khayer Lake, and Poon Hill. This trek is ideal for both novice and experienced trekkers and families traveling with kids. An experienced guide accompanies trekkers throughout the journey.

The Khopra Ridge Trek route was introduced in the Annapurna Region to contribute directly to the welfare of the mountain communities living along the trail. The community teahouse trek provides economic support to villages that were previously receiving no tourist traffic. Mahabir Pun, a renowned educationist and social activist, has been promoting this trail since it was introduced. The profit collected from the teahouses goes directly to fund local schools and health clinics. The trail is a delight to walk in spring as it is covered with pink and red rhododendron blooms. The Khopra Ridge Trek is a classic Nepal trek that offers a unique experience of the beauty of the Nepal Himalayas while supporting local communities.
